WOW! We have had an amazing week here in the 東豐支會！！！

WOW! We have had an amazing week here in the 東豐支會！！！ We have seem more miracles than ever and it is all out of the Lord's mercy! To start off, last week I talked about us trying to work with the ward more. We were shown this was the direction we are supposed to take the work last Monday night. We visited the Chen family and had dinner. We had planned to just share a super basic spiritual share, but as we got to there house, Sister Chen's mom was there. Sister Chen's mom is not a member but literally comes to church with them every single week. As we got to there house we had a strong impression we needed to focus on her. We started talking to her and the subject of baptism came up, she had some questions conflicting with Buddhism and our church and we tried to answer them as best we can. Towards the end of the discussion she just got really quiet for a minute and just said "I think it's time." She wants to be baptized!!! Her daughter and granddaughter sitting right next to her just started crying and the spirit was so strong! This has been a process for the entire family and the mom thinks it's her time to enter into the church of God! The Lord has been preparing her!

Tuesday was probably one of the harder days of my entire mission, we spent the whole day getting shut down by everyone we tried to share with, a little hard but we were pushing through! At about 8:50 we were heading home and honestly had probably two conversations with people the entire day. But it only takes one. We met this guy as we were heading home, he told us about how sad his life is and how he wants to change. We set up with him for Saturday, then Saturday came around and met, he is soo awesome. At one point in the lesson we shared Alma 7:11-14 with him about Christ, repentance, and baptism. He read it and looked up at us and just said "I need to repent." He is super humble and he is set to be baptized next month!

Wednesday was super awesome! We had English class, and every week afterward English we do a spiritual share. It went super well and we had a lady named Gina come up to us afterwards. She was just asking us tons of questions about life after death and telling us how scared she was of it. We started sharing and set up for another day. We have met with her twice since and she loves the gospel already! It was a huge miracle and she is definitely a prepared soul!!

Later Last week we met with that other Sister Chen who we committed to baptism, we found out that her father had passed away and she has had some other sad things happen in her life. We shared the Plan of Salvation with her and she absolutely loved it. We invited her to pray about it's truthfulness. The next day we met with her again and the first thing she says to us is "I prayed about it and Heavenly Father told me the plan is true!!" She is soo awesome!!!

I am so grateful for this opportunity to serve the Lord and I am seeing his hand in my life more than ever before! I want everyone who reads this to know that this church is true. It is the Lord's church on the earth today. And for everyone who isn't familiar with it I invite you to read in the Book of Mormon and pray to our Heavenly Father and ask him if it is true. With out a doubt I know you will receive an answer, and it will change your life.

Elder Michael Henderson

Most of these pictures are from a hike Elder Henderson and His Companion, and his MTC Companion and several ward members took on Pday this week! Also Elder Henderson purchased a Selfie Stick last week and as you can tell, he LOVES it!! lol!! I am loving all the pictures, its nice to see the faces of the people he talks about in his letters.

Mikey said this little boy followed him around on the hike saying over and over foreigner..foreigner...foreigner in Mandarin! He said he reminded him so much of his little brother Isaiah! So they took a pick! Peace signs, of course!!
