The mission life is the best life!

The mission life is the best life. I absolutely love every second of it. I was telling Elder Warner last night that I feel like a completely different person from the first day I was in this area.  The gospel is all about becoming better and improving, I feel like spiritually I have grown so much through out my entire mission.  I have never tried so hard to be obedient and to listen to the prompting s of the spirit.  It is changing my life.  As i have done this I have drawn closer to the Lord and I have never been so happy in the work. We have seen more miracles than ever before.

This week we had a very cool experience.  Saturday morning we did everything as usual. As we were praying and leaving the door, i had a feeling to not leave the house as we normally do. I can tell you that I have been here for 2 and a half transfers and i have left the house the exact same way every single day. When we leave the house we have a choice to go left or right into town, and everyday we take the left. But for some reason, on Saturday, i knew we needed to turn right.  At the time I had no idea why.  But I knew the thought was not from me, we followed it and for the first 15 minutes of contacting out the door, we didn't really find anyone willing to talk to us.  After a bit we pulled into a 7/11 and right as i pulled in I stopped this couple leaving. I said hello to the lady, and it startled her super bad. She said that she had gone to the United States 20 years ago, and had been to Salt Lake and toured Temple Square. Yesterday she came to church and during the our Sunday School class she stood up and told a story,  about how she has wanted to come back to this church but has not been able to find it and when we found her she knew it was a sign from God.  I know the Lord is guiding the work, I would have never known that this was the day I needed to turn right out of the apartment complex if it weren't for the spirit! I love this work.

We have another investigator who we met two weeks ago and has a huge desire to repent and change his life.  Last week we shared with him the word of wisdom.  At first it startled him a little bit, He smokes two packs of cigarettes a day! We prayed about a member present and it worked perfectly.  An Active member had the same problem and gave him the exact encouragement he needed.  Our investigator Jason, came back the next day with a huge smile on his face and a big wad of GUM in his mouth! He is so awesome, the Lord gives strength to those who have the desire to change.

Sister Chen is still on track to get baptized on the 27th!!

This week I studied the talk "Act in all Diligence" by Elder Henry B. Eyring.  It is one of my favorite talks of all time.  Through his talk I have found and told the Lord this is one of the new mottos of my life: "When I find myself drawn away from my priesthood duties by other interests and when my body begs for rest, I give myself this rallying cry:

REMEMBER HIM

The Lord is our perfect example of diligence in priesthood service. He is our CAPTAIN. He CALLED us. He goes before us, He chose us to follow Him, and to bring others with us."

I love the Lord and know he is our SAVIOR. He is our LIGHT.

"There is only one way to Salvation and that is through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" -Bruce R. McConkie

Love you all!! Have a great week!

Mikey says this is his favorite Taiwanese man of all time!!
This really is the lord's work.  Last October Elder Warner tracted into that lady in the red dress's house in the middle of no where. At that time her sister had just joined the church. As they were meeting she ran into some problems and has not been baptized yet, but Elder Warner got here and it is the member we went with hiking last weeks sister! Just a super small world!
