Well today is my last day with Elder Spach!! He is moving down to be a zone leader in Gaoxiong! Sad to see him go but he will do awesome down there. As for me I am staying in 豐原 another transfer!! My new comp is Elder Warner from Logan, Utah. He's super awesome, it's going to be super fun!
We had a solid last week! Started out with going to a toilet restaurant on P-day which was pretty fun! everything was in toilets! On Tuesday just had a full day of contacting! On Wednesday, we met with Sister Liu and the bishop and went over all of the baptismal interview questions to get her ready for the interview on Friday! She was SO GREAT and the bishop was just so impressed with her faith and her desire. She is absolutely GOLDEN and ready for baptism! She will be baptized this Saturday afternoon, 4/15.
Thursday we went on exchanges with the zone leaders. It was super fun and met a lot of cool people!!
Friday we had Sister Liu's baptismal interview and she passed with no problem!! She is so awesome and is so excited for her baptism!! She got out of the interview and we started congratulating her and he just says "I am so happy!!" hahahha we have never heard her speak English before, super funny! And awesome, it is soo cool to see how much happiness the gospel has brought to her life! We can't wait for the baptism, the only sad part is Elder Spach won't be able to attend!
We met with Ethan this week and he let us know that he wasn't really ready to be and would be moving to mainland China the next day. Super sad but we hope when he gets back in two months we can continue to meet with him!
And then this weekend we watched conference!! Wow it was soooo awesome! I loved President Monson's talk about the Book of Mormon. Just telling us that if we don't have a testimony of it, just read and pray! You will find it to be true! I loved this quote in it "My dear associates in the work of the Lord, I implore each of us to prayerfully study and ponder the Book of Mormon each day. As we do so, we will be in a position to hear the voice of the Spirit, to resist temptation, to overcome doubt and fear, and to receive heaven’s help in our lives."
The Book of Mormon is powerful and changes the life of anybody willing to read it!
