Hey everybody!!! Transfers this week and I am staying in Fengyuan. I am going on 7.5 months here, super exciting, i love the area! Crazy to see my last comp Elder Warner go home today! He is an absolute beast, and worked hard to the end. Sorry I don't have a lot of time to write today. My new comp is Elder Richter from Ogden, I have only been with him for like 2 hours but he seems awesome!
That was it for Elder Henderson's letter. Short and sweet. My husband was able to Chat with Elder Henderson from 2 to 4 am on Sunday night and I thought I would share a few other details he forgot in his letter!!
Elder Henderson's last week with Elder Warner was amazing! They spent their last pday together saying good bye to friends Elder Warner has met while on his mission.... People he has baptized etc. They also got a visit from some friends of Elder Henderson's family from the United States, The Jason Chen family. They also had a baptism!!!! Talk about ending strong!! They baptized an investigator of the Sisters. But Mikey said the man they baptized is one of his best friends in all of Taiwan. I love that he loves the people and has made such amazing friends!
Elder Henderson also told us that he has been made a District Leader to 4 Sisters and 2 Elders and a Senior Companion to Elder Richter from Odgen, Utah. He is very excited for the challenge and says he hopes his district is ready to work!! Like he said he has been in Fengyuan for 7.5 months which is kind of unheard of. I am so grateful to the people there and there love and support and friendship to my Boy!! He is so excited to share the Gospel and Love of Christ with those around him!! He inspires me to be a better person! Please keep Elder Henderson in your prayers, he doesn't mention it much but transportation is pretty sketchy over there!!
Thank you for your love and support!

Safety for the Soul
We just had an amazing week, with the highlight being the baptism! Sister Deng, Sister Chen, jun jie (jay), and two of the sister's investigators were all baptized Saturday night! The service was incredible and the ward was so supportive! After the baptism Sister Chen bore a powerful testimony of faith and how it has played a role in her conversion process. Her daughter was baptized about a year and a half ago and is a great member, Sister Chen supported her but never wanted to join because of the Buddhist traditions of her family. But about a month and a half ago we went over to their house and she said something changed, she started to believe and began to pray. Her testimony of the power of prayer is incredible and has had many wonderful experiences with it! We love her!
Sister Deng came to us last Monday with some questions brought up to her by a friend and became very nervous for the baptism. She wasn't very sure about it and pretty stressed. We talked through the problems and she realized the problems weren't actually problems. In the lesson my thoughts kept referring back to a talk by Elder Ronald A. Rasband a couple conferences ago. He talks about us needing to remember the powerful spiritual experiences we have had in the past, to build our testimony. I bore my testimony and told her she knew this was true, she knew that God was there, Jesus Christ was her Savior, She just needed to remember why and the experiences that backed up her faith. The experiences that brought her to the decision of being baptized. She is sooo awesome and she was baptized and has a stronger testimony because of this!!
I love this Gospel and the role it plays in my life. As I have seen it change other peoples lives, my faith has been strengthened. My relationship with our Heavenly Father, and our Savior Jesus Christ has been strengthened through the experiences I have had out here. And I will always remember them! I love you all and am so grateful for all your love and support!
Love
Elder Henderson :)
