HELLO! I feel like we just had P-day! Had another super awesome week full of miracles! To start off last Tuesday, we saw a foreigner! There is kind of a stereo type among foreigners here that they are not always the best to talk to lol. But we saw this huge dude and we for some reason thought we needed to talk to him.  We started talking to him and He was from New Zealand! The coolest part about the whole conversation is that we sat down with this complete stranger and he basically told us his whole life story, about all the trials he has had to go through, family, just about everything.  We shared about how the Gospel really can change lives and help us overcome our problems.  We shared about the Book of Mormon and he told us He has already read the Bible, the Koran, and a bunch of buddhist scriptures, and the Book of Mormon!  Right now he said he doesn't have special feelings toward any but is willing to try the Book of Mormon again! The coolest part about the whole situation I think is, I know he felt the spirit.  There is no other reason he would have shared so much with us, and been willing try the Book of Mormon again.  All through the power of God, he has another chance to hear the message!

劉佩雯 (Sister Liu)!! She is doing soo awesome, she got sick last week and for some other reasons we had to move her baptism back a couple weeks.  But we got a call from her on Thursday night saying that her Sister wants to be baptized with her!! It was such a big miracle! She is already doing missionary work! We met with them both this week and have a goal for them to get baptized on the same day! Super awesome!

This week we also met with our investigator Ethan who was supposed to be getting baptized in the next couple weeks! This week we shared with him, the word of wisdom and law of chastity.  At first he said the only problems were going to be coffee and tea but we met with him for a second time during the week and that day had drank 23 shots of alcohol.😱 So we were a little confused by that but he is trying hard to stop! We tried to focus on the reasons he is trrying to keep these commandments. The testimony behind it!

I want to tell my beautiful little sister Ana, HAPPY 12th BIRTHDAY! She got her faith in God award and Temple recommend!!! She is so awesome and i am so proud of her! Everyone tell her happy Birthday!!

Love

你好!!!Hello!!

你好!!!Hello!! One of mine and Elder Spach's favorite things to do when we contact people on the street is turn it into a game of Quidditch Contacting! Well, everytime we play, we set a certain surname to be the "golden name" and we try our very best to go out and find the person with that surname! This week, we played a lot of Quidditch, and two days in a row I caught the snitch! it was so cool because we talked to one guy and I was like "this is definitely the golden guy" Icould just feel it! and so we asked him what his surname was and he said "My name is Mr Zhao!" and that was the exact surname that we had chosen for the day! Doing this activity and setting specific goals has really helped me to see that Heavenly Father loves us and wants us to succeed!! When we are willing to make a plan, and ask for Heavenly Father's help to accomplish the plan, He will help us do all that we need to do and meet all the people that we need to meet!

It has been another great week here in fengyuan filled with many miracles! Me and Elder Spach are doing great and the work is awesome. I have been pondering about how Heavenly Father feels about each of us and how I can show that love a little more than I am right now. I have reazlized as I serve the people here, my love for them grows and I have a bigger desire to serve! It gives me the drive to keep going and the courage to talk to everyone! The more I study the gospel the more I want to share!!

Thank for All the love and support

Elder 孫 is my Elder

This week was sooo awesome!! Started off last P-day going to an all you can eat buffet, super good! The whole day was goig great until, something happened... Elder Spach dropped the phone down the toilet hahaha so we spent a good portion of time going to the mission home to get a new cell phone! hahaha

So many miracles!  We met with Sister Liu this week and taught her the Word of Wisdom, at first she was  nervous about it, but is trying her absolute hardest to do it.  Her testimony is so strong and her desire to follow Christ is such an example to me! They came to church again and loved it, her daughters last week said that primary was awesome and sacrament was a little boring hahah, so we bought some coloring books for them to start using!

Friday night was super cool.  We met with a new an awesome lady and has a ton of interest in learning more.  We starting into the lesson and asked her if she believed in Jesus Christ. She had heard the name but never heard anything else about him, literally knew nothing about him.  It is really different to teach in a situation like this but  cool cause we get to teach so simply and testify a lot! After that me and Elder Spach headed home for the night. As we were going home we road past a lady holding a baby walking down the road, at first I didn't see her but Elder Spach felt that we needed to go talk to her. So we turned around and headed back to find her, as we did, she literally disappeared. We could not find her anywhere and we got a little sad, but determined to go find her! We started going down multiple streets but had no luck.  At this point we were super sad and wished we would have talked to her to start with.  But i just had a thought we were going to find her.  So we pulled over and said a prayer. As we did so I had a thought we needed to go down a street a couple minutes down the road.  So we got to the street and it was this super dark alley way. We road to the very end and could not see anyone.  We stopped and thought for a second, then one of the apartments caught our eye, so out of all the houses on the street, we decided to knock this 1 special door.  As we did so, a lady with two little kids answered the door.  We told her we were missionaries of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had a message that could help her family.  She was happy to see us and wanted to learn more! We are going to try and meet with her this week!  Out of every house we could have knocked on, the spirit guided us to her!!

This was by far one of the best experiences of my mission so far.  As I thought back on the experience, I thought about if we would have never gone back to look for the lady with the baby in the first place. We would have never found this other lady! During the prayer we said, I thought of a story that my Aunt Emily told me when I was like 14.  Where a lady dreams and in-visioned teaching and baptizing a family on her mission with a purple front door, but when she found the house with the purple door, it turned out to be something to catch her attention, to find the family living next door to the house with the purple door.  She ended up baptizing that family.  What I got of the experience was that Heavenly Father sometimes puts things in our way to catch our attention, like that lady with the baby, so that he can lead us to where we need to go!

The Lord has a perfect plan for everything and everybody!

We found this AWESOME dad named John in a convenience store. We went up to talk to him and introduced myself, and he said "I know who you are, I met you on the road two days ago!" and I was like well hey, it must be part of God's plan to run into me again! and as a lot of Taiwanese people like to say, I told him it must be 緣分 fate or destiny! We asked him to meet with us and he set up for Saturday morning. We went outside of the elementary school where his kids were taking an arts and crafts class, and shared about the plan of salvation and how families can be together forever! We asked him if he had ever heard of Jesus Christ, and he told us that when he was little he met missionaries from our church that gave him a little booklet about Chirst and His life! He told us that "it's like he has been learning a little bit here and there to help him prepare for the fate of meeting with us"

Yesterday we had a random guy that we met on the street call us and told us he was coming to church!! He is probably 23 years old or so and he is super awesome! He stayed for all 3 hours and even shared some thoughts! He is interested in learning more, so more on him next week!!

Last Week we were riding our bikes past a McDonald's and stopped to talk to a lady who was about 60 years old.  At first she didn't want to talk to us at all but we started sharing a little and she warmed up. haha We invited her to church and and then my comp just goes "Maybe we can meet this week and I'll buy you McDonald's" We all started laughing thinking it was a joke.  Like 3 days later she called us and said she wanted to meet at McDonald's. So We met with her and bought her McDonald's! hahah We shared about the Plan of Salvation, Her whole family is gone and she feels alone. She LOVED it and wants to learn more. So awesome!
Thank you for all the love and support!

Super Solid First week with,THE Elder Spach!

Super solid first week, with THE Elder Spach! The Lord is really helping us out here in 豐原!!The highlight of the week was Sister Liu, I talked about her a little last week but she is really improving.  She came to church yesterday! She was a little bit nervous because she has two little kids and didn't know if they would like it, but it was a complete miracle and couldn't have gone any better, the primary is awesome in the ward and her daughters absolutely loved it!! We are going to start meeting with her and her family, and try to get the 8 year daughter prepared for baptism on the 25th of March as well!! She is so awesome!

Another one of our investigators set a baptismal goal this week, Brother Chang! He is super cool,  this week we were talking about his life and what he likes to do. His main hobby, is sleeping. So, we asked him, how much do you normally sleep in a day?  He literally sleeps for between 16 -24 hours a day.  He said if he had it his way he would sleep ALL day. hahahah super crazy, but he is starting to see sleep is not the most important thing in life!

Craziest Story of the week.  I pull up to this dude on a motor scooter this week and just say "Ni Hao!", he had a motorcyle helmet on so i couldn't see his face. As i say it he turns to me and lifts up the mask and it's this American dude who look absolutely crazy. He turns to me and yells in my face "Have you found God??" and I just respond calmly. "Yes i have, have you?" and he just yells "Yes!!! In Drugs!!! i take them ALL day!!" and drove away super quick. hahahhahhahah It was the weirdest thing in the world! That sums up a big portion of the American's in Taiwan!! hahaha

Love you all have a great week!
